Readyboost Lost - Build 7000->7022
I have a 4GB really fastflash card that I dedicate to Readyboost. I'm a believer in the performance improvements with my hdwr config. I used this same SD card for Readyboost in in Vista without issue. I upgraded to Windows 7 Build 7000 - Readyboost worked just fine.Still using the same SD card, I upgraded to Win 7 Build 7022, and Readyboost isn't an option. Inserting the device, Windows asks if I want to speed up my machine on the Autoplay screen. But in the device properties, there isn't a Readyboost tab. In Vista, this would happen if the Readyboos service was stopped, but in Win7 7022, I don't even see the Readyboost service listed. Strange, since it worked fine under build 7000. Anyone?Glenn

Hi GTBJr We can only support the released versions of the public beta in these forums. The 7022 version has not been officially released yet? If you are using this build, it is probably an illegalcopy and could contain malicous code.Please be careful. Ronnie Vernon MVP

I got this through the TAP/Connect program, not the public beta program (as a development partner).I'll post the questions to the TAP discussion boards. Thanks!Glenn
